When is patenting a good idea?

To patent or not to patent?

To patent or not to patent?

Patents are not what they used to be, because if you patent in one country then the whole world gets to learn about your invention and if in a country where your patent is not inforce they will be free to use your invention!

Nowadays in the age of AI as soon as your patent is published (before it has the protection of being granted) the AI crawlers will have instantly absorbed your invention and it will be incorporated into hundreds of invention modules.

A patent may well be the right answer but you need to consider the risks and advantages first and put together the strategy for your business.
