The Made.com brand was sold to British fashion retailer Next for £3.4 million, after the online furniture seller went into administration.
Next bought the made.com brand, website and intellectual property from administrators PwC.
Made.com expanded rapidly during the pandemic but inflation and an uncertain economy has apparently led to a fall in online furniture purchases.
This writer thinks there will lots of good brands and other intellectual property assets up for (fire) sale in the coming months…..
